Tweeting, Checking In, and Texting to Win
While I’m not a huge proponent of foursquare on the level of personal use (I can’t honestly say I think people care about me filling up my gas, or going to the grocery store, or flying to Topeka, Kansas), I am intrigued by the idea that you can check in at an event via your phone. Twitter reached 100 million active users!
Just a quick status update for those who think Twitter is a fad. Dick Costolo, CEO revealed Thursday that Twitter has 100 million active users logging in at least once a month and 50 million active users every day. The microblogging service has a total of 200 million registered users, but how many of those are actually regulars has been open to debate for some time (@Buckeye, we still want your username).
